¡Estoy en Quito y no estoy muerte!

So I´m in Ecuador now. I sitll don´t have internet on my laptop so I can´t post a long blog but here´s the basic lowdown:
I have a host mom, Marcia, and it´s just her and me here in our apartment. She´s really nice and is definitely looking out for me.
Classes haven´t started yet, but we´ve been in intensive spanish classes every day this week so we´ve been on campus but without the other students.
My spanish is already getting better since being here though it´s still difficult to understand when ppl speak quickly. It´s good practice to be 24.7 in Spanish though it sometimes gets overwhelming and I just want to speak in English. Also, speakign in English itself is getting harder as I almost always think in Spaniglish now.
More later, as I don´t want to use up all my mom´s internet. I miss everyone and wish you all were here with me!!! 4 days down, only a bajillion to go!!!
