Mi Camino

Everyday I walk about 6 blocks to and from the bus stop. Here are some things I experience on my daily trekk:

-3 parks (de Chile, de Peru, and the one that's right outside my building)
-2 pet stores
-a great smelling panaderia [breadshop] that tempts me every morning
-mountain climbing/biking store
-intense amount of pollution that burn my nose some days
-wall full of environmentalist murals done by schoolkids (you can see it sort of in this picture)
-about 1000 yellow taxis

-equestrian store (in the middle of quito?)
-mute and deaf abuelita [grandma] who sits in the park with her dog (who is always wearing a sweater)

-the smell of eucalyptus
-the shar-pei puppy that chews on its leash while it walks and its older compatriot
-flower stands that remind me of the lei stands back home
